Peter the Great achieved more in Russia than Catherine. Peter ruled for a longer period. Also he learned how to do stuff through example. He disguised himself as a normal citizen to go work on a harbor to learn about ship building. Peter believed that people learned more through examples and hands on activities. Also he improved his army's training and weaponry for wars. He fought and won a 21 year long war with Sweden. Peter the Great gained territory for his country. He also encouraged manufacturing and trade. He also created the "service Nobility", in which novel's rank depended on the performance of the government service. This is why Peter the Great achieved more for Russia than Catherine the Great did.

The positives about having an asolute ruler are that things get done faster nobody can interfear with the process of getting laws passed and maintained. The downs are that they have full control over everything so if you dont agree with it you dont have a choice whether or not its going to happen. I would choose not to live under an absolute ruler because that would suck to have somebody telling you to do everything and not having a say.

I feel that Peter the Great achieved more. He is the one that started the whole thing. He built the palace from scratch. He is also the one that had started all the changes. Peter helped the social staus of the women, he made so they do not feel so isolated, and hey can be more social.

some reasons that the absolute rulers came to power because they thought they had the devine right from god and also there was public sanverty, no i do not think that there could be an absolute ruler in the us because the people would not let it because it just would not work, just one person doing all the work of all the government it would just be to much

well the positive things are that they can control stuff but the negative thing is they will be controllin everything including u i think..and i would not wanna live in a country with and absulte ruler because i dont wanna be controlled by someone else.
